In our area in southwest Georgia, agri-business is the major industry. Every business in our community relies in some way on the revenues generated by this diverse industry. The Pelham Rotarians host local farmers and agri-business professionals at a meeting each year in order to show our appreciation for those who keep our local economy going strong.

We provide a meal and host an outstanding speaker to inform the members and our guests about important agriculture related topics. This is a wonderful opportunity for our members who are not employed in agricultural industries to learn about this extremely important aspect of our local economy. The turnout is always large and the event is highly anticipated each year as is evidenced by the fact that many people ask us for the date of the event so they can put it on their calendar.
